P A L I M P S E S TPalimpsest aims to offer a representative picture of my non-commercial calligraphic work from recent years. The 68-page booklet contains both a careful selection of existing work and entirely new material, including samples of pure lettering as well as calligraphy imbedded into collage and abstract painting. An introduction and several pages of comments on the works help to clarify my artistic intentions.
Palimpsest wil een representatief beeld schetsen van mijn vrij kalligrafisch werk van de afgelopen jaren. Naast een zorgvuldige selectie uit het archief bevat het boek ook veel nieuw werk, zowel puur zwart-wit letterwerk als kalligrafie ingebed in collage en abstracte schilderkunst. Een Nederlandse vertaling van mijn commentaar op de werken is bijgevoegd op inlegblad.
